The economic circumstances of the last 18 months has created a deluge of Builder bankruptcies and difficulties for Customers seeking solutions for Warranty claims and completion of "punch list" items for their "new" construction projects. In some cases, litigation has resulted. Grayson Family Homes is quite sound financially and will be very happy to provide extensive banking and supplier references that will attest to this fact. Likewise, we have never been involved with litigation between ourselves and any of our Customers. We have recently conducted a survey of many of our past customers from Reynolds Plantation and the Lake Oconee area to guage their overall Customer Satisfaction with both the initial project and the follow-up efforts that we have made to support them with any questions or matters that might have arisen since they took possession of their completed projects. Our Testimonials page provides some of their initial comments at the original time of construction, but we wanted to conduct our own follow-up regarding their actual living experiences and feelings over the extended period of time since they took occupancy. In some cases, these customers have been in their homes for over ten years. In others, as little as two years. Some builders hand over the keys, and then practically disappear, but that is not the case with us. We asked them to describe in one word, or a short phrase, what their impression has been in their building experiences with Grayson Family Homes and their satisfaction over the course of time. Here are a few of their comments: 1) "Honesty, transparency, and follow-up. In other words, the things that I appreciated the most were that you explained the options beforehand (ie. cost/quality tradeoffs) and helped me make an educated choice; you gave me copies of the actual invoices and estimates and allowed me to audit them; and after the job was done, you helped if there was a problem that occured later." 2) "Dependable!" 3) "Constant communication. With Grayson Family Homes, the use of photographs, drawings, emails, and cell phone.......we were always in the loop!" 4) "Responsive! Whenever there was an issue. You always were quick to find an answer." 5) "Superlative work; better than any other contractor with whom I have worked." 6) “Louie Carter has done several projects for me and the workmanship has been great and better yet, he came in under budget." 7) Louie, As I think back over the last two years of knowing you the three things I would say to describe your attributes as a contractor are; a. Meticulous b. Knowledgeable c. Honor, Pride, & Integrity 8) "Louie Carter is an excellant design, planning and construction resource person...reliable." 9) a) Done right, on time! b) Punch list was only two minor items long for a new build. c) Stayed within budget (except for the extras we added) d) Great at communicating, especially long distance during the build. e) Kept us on schedule, when we needed to make decisions. f) Put whole plan in his computer, flipped it (to fit lot), then added a full basement for a nominal fee. g) We were 900 miles away and always felt in the loop. h) When we visited, there were no unpleasant surprises. i) Would recommend Louie for a whole house build, re-build or addition. 10) Louie Carter: You have built my home, added rooms downstairs and completed glassing in our deck. I would recommend you to anyone anytime. Your work is top quality and your costing information is right on the money. You have followed up and made sure that we have been well satisfied when the projects were completed. You have consistently provided us with cost information that is accurate and there have been no cost over runs. You take pride in your work which your performance demonstrates. I am proud to have your as my builder as well as a friend. 11) "The world needs more Louie’s that are always honest and truthful." 12) "Louie has the talent to design your project, generate the drawings, obtain the required permits, and use qualified contractors to complete your project.
