For the past 25 years, she has worked extensively on commercial and residential projects in Florida, Nevada and Washington state.

While in Florida from the mid to late 80's, Mrs. Carter specified product for and supervised several hotel remodeling and renovation projects in Miami and the Florida Key's, including the historical Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada, along with many up-scale residential projects.

She moved to Las Vegas, NV, in 1989, where her experiences with the original Del Webb Communities, as Lead Interior Designer, Showcase Kitchens and Baths, Cabinet West Distributors and Kaufman & Broad Homes in Las Vegas, NV, allowed her to work with many celebrity clientele from both the entertainment industry and sports personalities that have their personal homes there.  Among these, she counts Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, Andre Agassi, Mike Tyson, and Phyllis McGuire (McGuire Sisters singing trio) as but a few of her noted customers while in Las Vegas.

After moving to Washington state to be close to family, she secured a position with Lowe's as head cabinet designer and worked closely with customers to specify products for complete home remodeling projects - working with all products throughout the store.  From plumbing, electrical, appliances, cabinets, flooring, windows, hardware, building materials; her knowledge for a "complete package" to build or re-model a home is an asset to any customer looking for a "one stop" design experience.

Now in the Lake Oconee area and Reynolds Plantation, joining her husband Louie, she is available for custom work on a fee basis, as well as assisting with customers of Grayson Family Homes.  Locally, Deborah is continuing to expand her services thru the Custom Home and Remodeling services provided by her husband's business.
